Elegant Vase

Project info Made December 2010 Name Elegant Vase Pattern Vase of Grace by Nicky Epstein Craft Knitting Made for Danitra & Mark Christmas 2010 Needles & yarn Needle US 8 - 5.0 mm Yarn Tilli Thomas Hand Paints 100% Australian Merino w/petite sequins Colorway Ruby Wine 180 Dye lot 121 Color family Red Notes 12/24/10 I stitched a bit too much, but it still looks neat, the only problem I have is that the folded over fabric on the bottom makes the vase pretty unsteady, i’m gonna try to weight it down with some rocks in the bottom. 12/23/10 I’m kinda winging it here, I hope this turns out as nice as her pictures!

Tiny little back packs

Image
Made July 2019 For me and my kidos: I used Lily's Sugar and cream for the kids and a random mystery yarn for mine. I used a G hook for the kids and a n=smaller one for mine as the yarn was thinner. Pattern from: HandmadebyRaine.com Notes: They are adorable and seriously only take about an hour to make, I made a few changes as I went, instead of making the straps separate I just slipped stitched to wear I wanted to place them. and after making the base I crochet into the back stich only for one round to give more of a defined base. These were seriously so fun to make and could be attached to school bags. I am using a metal clasp to attach mine to my purse for my headphones.

The yarn I’m using looks great and feels wonderful, I’m kinda wishing I was making this for myself instead of my sister! I may have to make another!

I started making the large size then realized my step mom isn't big foot and had to start all over, plus I’ve been super busy, other wise I think I would have been done days ago. This pattern was so easy and fun, they knit up so quick and easy! I’m gonna make another pair for my Mom to match her new winter coat! 11/28/10 This is the first mitten project for me ever and they are so easy! I cant believe how easy they are! I’m gonna make some for my Mom too!

I think I finally have the pattern correct, because its starting to look like the picture! 10/5 Ok, I don’t know what is gong on, I am not sure if something in the pattern is not written correctly, by the left side of my scarf does not look like the picture, the rest of the scarf looks great, but the last cable on the far left isn't correct! I am frustrated! 10/3 I’M GONNA CHANGE THE PATTERN UP A BIT, I DONT LIKE HOW MUCH RIBBING IS PICTURED, I’M JUST GONNA JUMP RIGHT IN AND START THE PATTERN.

I finished, but it doesn’t look like Zim, it looks like an alien yes, but not Zim, makes me sad because my chart drawing looks like Zim. Oh, Well, its still cool! 6/15/10 Just finished charting Zim’s head, I’m gonna do a duplicate stitch for the design, never done that before, but thought this would be a good project to try it out on! 6/14/10 Got the hat done, used a very simple hat design, but forgot to use one size smaller needles for the cast on edge, so it doesn't

I also stupidly put the petals on backward, so then when finishing I needed to twist the petals around so the bobbles would be on top where they where suppose to be, so the middle of the flower is not as pretty as it should be.

I made one “large” and one “small” and I had to rewrite the pattern to make them work the way I wanted to. For the large I cast on 28 and decreased only on the knit side, for the small I cast on 21 and decreased only on the knit side as well. I then stuffed them into small clay pots. They turned out so cute!
