WORMS KNIT TOO

I just finished this beautiful scarf August 19, 2019, knitted, made with two different yarns. 1) Danube DK by Crystal Palace Yarns- 40%nylon, 30% wool, 30% rayon. 2) Kenzie By Hikoo- 50% New Zealand Merino, 25% Nylon, 10% angora, 10% alpaca, 5% silk noils. So I followed the pattern except I started with a magic loop cast on, and I half dbl crochet the entire thing, then when I got to rnd:16, I half dbl crochet in the back loop only around, and rnd 17: back to normal . The shape is sturdier the point pointier, also the brim sticks out straighter instead of curling up. Then came the fun part, I bought some purple lacy trim and sewed it all around/under the brim and added some purple and black feathers. Then I sewed the whole thing to a head band.

Then the I-cord bind off instructions where not complete and I had to go to another website to get better directions. But I finally learned the I-cord bind off, which I have been wanting to learn every since I discovered it last winter. The hat turned out quit lovely and sparkly, I plan on making another for a gift of a lady I know who is also having a little girl!
