My Mom's Pretty Scarf

Image
I worked extremely hard on this Scarf and eneded up finishing it the day before Christmas at my Mom's house where I had to ban her from her dinning room while I sewed the silky beautiful fabric onto the knitted cable front I made. It didn't quit turn out the way I envisoned, but it turned out very nice.

Tiny Teddy Bear

Image
WEll the ones shown on the pattern are way cuter than mine. but maybe I just need to try again, I lost count of my stitches a few times and I am sure thats why mine looks a bit off! The pattern isTiny Teddies by Lucy Ravenscar and can be found here: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=289504.msg3296032#msg3296032

Diane's Mini Knitting Bag Ornament

Image
I just lovee makeing these cute little bags and its so easy to change up the pattern and put different handles on them to make them suite the personality of the person you are giving them to.

My Santa Bag

Image
Even though my Santa Bag was incredibly easy to make I am very proud of it, it came in very handy when it came time to transport and hand out all the wonderful gifts I made. I also love making gift wrap and makeing gifts look wonderful under the tree. We didn't really have a tree this year, just a little gold thing I hot glued a star to! So Here are some pictures of my gift wraping skills too.

Bronco's Christmas Ornament

Image
My future Brother In-Law loves the Bronco's. I have no clue why, he grew up in Iowa?! Any way, I made this cute little hat out of Mission Falls 1824 Cotton and used the knitpicks Christmas Ornaments pattern book for the hat pattern. I bought the key chain and added it because My football wise Husband pointed out to me that the Bears have the same colors and it could be mistaken for a bears hat and not a Bronco's hat. (even thought everyone knows he's a Bronco's fan!?)

Mini Star Ornaments

Image
I used Noro Daria to make this star bright and beautiful. Its hard to crochet with this yarn, so if you have any kind of hand pain ?I would stay away from the Daria. But the resault was wonderful. The pattern is Large Star Ornament by Amy James Gray and here is the link: http://expimag.blogspot.com/2007/12/christmas-star-ornaments.html

Crochet Hearts

Image
I used Sugar & Cream cotten for these super cute, super easy hearts The pattern is called Crochet Valentine by Sara Graham. And here is the link so you can make a few dozen yourself! http://www.crochettoday.com/crochet-patterns/mini-hearts

Flat Crochet Christmas Star Ornament

Image
crochet with two strands of yarn, one yellow, one sparkly.

Christmas Wreaths

Image
I followed the orignial directions for the smaller wreath, decided it needed structure and added a 4 inch macrame ring to the larger wreath. I then bought 2 inch plastic rings to make several more of the smaller ones. Works like a charm!

Puffy Crochet Star Ornament

Image
Turned out very cute, measures a little over an inch across the front. Given as Christmas Gift.

Grandpa's Christmas Present

Image
I knit this pillow using Lion Brand Wool Ease, In nurtral and a dark reddish brown. It turned out very nice, but it is kinda hard to see the squrille I knitted into the front of the pillow.

January 5, 2010, - 11:17 am Dearbornistan Muslim Arab Students’ Sweatshirts Glorify 9/11 By Debbie Schlussel **** UPDATE, 01/06/10: Told Ya So: Arab Muslim Students Admit Sweatshirts Were Belligerence About 9/11, Flight 253 **** As I have told you over and over again, despite their declared “condemnations” of the 9/11 attacks, Muslims all over America praised and cheered the mass murder of nearly 3,000 Americans. Last week, I told you about how four Muslim Arab employees cheered at a Ford engineering plant high-fived, cheered, and laughed at the 9/11 attacks, and got to keep their jobs for three years thereafter. This week, it’s fifteen Arab Muslim students at Dearbornistan’s Edsel Ford High School. They made sweatshirts glorifying the 9/11 attacks, depicting the twin towers with a plane about to fly into it. “Religion of Peace,” indeed. It’s disgusting, but it’s the way of life in Dearbornistan and–soon–your neck of the woods (and, actually, already there). Watch the video. In c
