These two bags conjure up images of a bygone era, when ladies wore gloves as a matter of course. These bags are easy to knit, easy to felt and easy to finish. The flaps that enclose the purse frame are knitted as part of the bag. Then simply sew the flaps around the frame (even when the bag is damp) for a lovely silhouette. Difficulty level is Intrepid Beginner.
Knit and felt the Large Vintage Bag with about 1050 yards of Worsted Weight Feltable Yarn. Approximate finished dimensions are 9.5" (23.75cm) wide x 4.5" (11.25cm) deep x 10.5" (26.25cm) high.

Knit and felt the Small Vintage Bag with about 400-420 yards of Worsted Weight Feltable Yarn. Approximate finished dimensions are 6" (15cm) wide x 4.5" (11.25cm) deep x 6" (15cm) high.

You will need US 11 (8mm) 24" Circular Needles, a Tapestry Needle, sewing needle and thread, Stitch Markers, a Snap Purse Frame, a Clip-on Purse Chain (for the small bag), a set of Noni Pockets, and 4-6 half round Bag Feet.
