2009 KNIT OUT!


If you are in the Minneapolis area this weekend (Feb 14-15), come join me and a zillion other knitters and crocheters at the Mall of America for this year's big Knit-Out and Crochet 2009, sponsored by the Craft Yarn Council of America. Some of the biggest names in yarnland will be there and I'll be interviewing them and blogging live from the Mall for next week's posts!

The Knit-Out and Crochet event promises to be tons of fun!

There will be knitting demos, crocheting demos, contests, fashion shows, and FREE knitting and crochet lessons. Rumor hath it that if you show up at the doggies-in-knits fashion show, you might catch a glimpse of your favorite Knitting Daily editor wrangling a pup or two.

I finished a quick hat over the weekend; and am half-done with a pair of thrummed mittens. (My sister's Central Park Hoodie is on hold temporarily. My sister lives in Chicago, so she totally understands and doesn't mind waiting until the mittens are done.)
